Mykola and Anna Sushko are Ukrainian entrepreneurs and philanthropists who believe in the power of people and invest not simply in projects, but in trust, dignity, and the capacity of Ukrainians to become authors of their own lives. Mykola Sushko
An entrepreneur with more than 20 years of experience in financial analytics.
Mykola is also an ambassador of the Community of Patrons and a member of the Supervisory Board of the Georgiy Gongadze Prize, which recognizes journalists for courage, integrity, and principled choices.
His guiding principle is: “repairing the world” by creating opportunities for others.
Anna Sushko
A civic leader working to strengthen a culture of trust and foster a more capable and resilient society.
She believes that humanitarian policy, education, and culture are not only areas of development, but also foundations of national security.
Anna is a frequent speaker at international forums and contributes to discussions on the agency of Ukrainians and new approaches to societal development, connecting Ukrainian perspectives with global ideas and practices.
In 2018, Mykola and Anna Sushko established Sushko Philanthropy, an initiative that brings together the couple’s philanthropic projects dedicated to creating opportunities for positive and lasting social change.
Smart Prostir (Kozelshchyna, Poltava region)
A contemporary educational and community space created through the revitalization of a century-old library in Kozelshchyna. The project brings together a traditional and modern library, educational programs for children and adults, career guidance initiatives, grants for youth-led business projects, and community development activities. It offers a model that combines respect for heritage with investment in the future of the community.
Obiimy
A Ukrainian cultural center, established at the outset of the full-scale invasion as a space of support and connection for Ukrainians abroad. Today, Obiimy has evolved into an international cultural community that brings together educational programmes, cultural initiatives, and integration practices, creating opportunities for Ukrainians to build fulfilling lives across different countries.
Hopemakers Foundation
An initiative dedicated to strengthening healthcare and medical science in Ukraine. The foundation works to advance medical infrastructure and professional development for healthcare professionals, creating conditions that allow them to focus on what matters most — saving patients’ lives.
Cultural Diplomacy
The family collaborates with leading cultural institutions, including PEN Ukraine, supporting initiatives that advance literature, journalism, and intellectual life in Ukraine and internationally. This includes literary residencies, platforms for cultural dialogue, and projects documenting the experiences of Ukrainian journalists and writers during the war. Mykola Sushko is also among the patrons of the Georgiy Gongadze Prize — one of Ukraine’s leading awards recognizing professionalism, courage, and integrity in journalism.
Mnozhyna Foundation
On 26 November 2025, Mykola and Anna Sushko established Mnozhyna Foundation to support people, ideas, and institutions, building the infrastructure of freedom and long-term development.
Their mission is to help Ukrainians dream boldly and act capably.
Mykola and Anna Sushko see the Mnozhyna Foundation as an expression of a new Ukrainian culture rooted in trust and responsibility.
The couple is raising four children.
